The Sebenzas may be different, but I really, really, reeeeally tried to like my Star-Tac (Umnumzaan sold through Wilson Combat), but the Hinderer won my heart. With so many CRK fans raving about how smooth their knives were, my sample was not that smooth, even after breaking in and applying CRK grease. My experience is that the Hinderer is much smoother, and with even slight adjustments in the tightness of the pivot, I can see the CRK blade moving off center much more than the Hinderer. In addition, my Star-Tac came out of the box with later than desirable lock-up; not so with my XM-24, which is now my EDC. So sadly, I'm thinking of selling the Star-Tac, as I don't like to have money tied up in knives that won't see use.
But, to each his own, and just as for ZippoThisKnifeThat above, the form factor of the CRK probably fits more people better in the EDC category.
Just my 2 cents...
