I dont know if this question was ever posted before , even more importantly I dont want this to come off at all as being insulting or any other negative way because I realize that Hinderer knives are among the best knives ever made. I was wondering if the idea has ever been explored with Hinderer to add a wave feature to non flipper knives. I realize the patent has been used by spyderco and some other makers, just wondering if this would be a feature worth exploring. Im sure Im not the first person that has thought about this.....I dont really like Emersons , but I LOVE Hinderers. The wave feature is a real cool opening feature, not that the flipper isn't, it was just an idea. Im not sure what that would involve as far as patent royalties would be or even if Hinderer would even want that on his knives, but I guess it could turn into an interesting discussion. Your thoughts?

I have an Emerson Super K that mostly only purchased it because of the wave feature. After experience with waves and autos and thumbstuds and flippers and fixed blades and opening holes and blah blah blah...well, I found what I like and evidence my likes by where I spend my forum free-time.
