This knife was lightly used before Clay Allison of Wicked Edge tuned up the edge for me at the ECCKS. It hasn't cut anything or been carried out of the box since.

I've used some knives sharpened on the Wicked Edge system before, and those edges didn't compare to the one Clay put on this knife:

While I was at the ECCKS show I had the Hinderer crew check out the knife, and they said it was in excellent condition-- So for lack of a better term, I'll call it a "Hinderer certified pre-owned knife."

There are some surface scratches on the blade that I could not get to show up in the pictures. The XM-24 is NOT for sale.
