For Sale: (No Trades Please)

Excellent condition Hinderer XM-18 3.5 Gen 4 Spanto. This knife was carried a few times, and used on minor things like envelopes a few times. No edge damage, and the blade retains the factory profile. I did very lightly go over the edge with a fine grit stone, which will be visible with the knife in hand, but not material was removed from the edge and the angle was not altered. This is from the run of Duratech 20CV blades.

Comes with a factory orange G10 scale, and a Monkey Edge Frag pattern Translucent Green which I have modified with 3 small tritium vials so the knife glows in the dark. Since the mod was done to a scale I purchased separately, and not to the actual knife, the warranty should still be valid. Comes in the original box with plastic baggie and peanuts. Pictured is the tag from Hinderer which proves I am the original owner.

Lockup is good at about 40%, and the blade is nicely centered.

Selling to shift funds into other projects. Asking $750 for everything by USPS money order, or $765 by standard paypal (no gift option) which is a split on the fees. Shipping is included, and the knife will be shipped USPS Priority with Signature Confirmation. This is a CONUS +2 sale only, sorry, no international buyers. If the buyer wants insurance, it is optional and at the buyer's expense, based on your zip code.

Please let me know what you would like to see, and I'll try to get a picture uploaded.

If you can get it, I would like to see detail on the ME scale where it was ground out and the tritium vials were glued in. What was used to cut the slots?

Since this is a for sale thread, I will post the pics. The tritium vials were secured with Norland-61 epoxy. If you're looking for a how-to, please email me. Click on the thumbnails for a larger view.
