Hi,

Recently, I've been looking for a Rick Hinderer XM-18.
Now, I've found one, but it has some strange specs.

According to the site it has Carbon scales..
And also, S30V steel.

Now, for what I know, Generation 3 only is produced in Duratech CV20 and has G10 scales.

Did I miss something or is the site with the info wrong?

PS, also please let me know what size you prefer, 3'' or 3,5''?

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, S30V was only used on the 1st generation XM-18s. There are some carbon fiber scales floating around. It's kinda rare.

there was just a run made where the blade steel is very similar to D2 in its properties, except it's stainless. I believe most Gen 3 XM-18s are 20CV though.
