Hey guys. I have an XM-24 on the way. I assumed the bearings were going to be the same or I similar to my ZT, so I ordered a set of taco bearings. With that aside being aftermarket, is it worth the price to buy OEM scales or do other people make quality, tolerance right replacements and if so, who? I think that’s about it. Maybe down the line I’ll do a hardware swap but otherwise I’m going to leave it be. The scale on there now I believe I’ll like, I just wanted to look at options if I get bored of the orange.

Seems like the Hinderer scales are more sought after than the aftermarket scales. Midnight Sun Industries are the only aftermarket scales that I have experience with. They seem well made and fit as well as Hinderer scales in my opinion. I have no idea about the stuff seen on eBay. In the XM-24 photo the bronze scale is Hinderer and the natural one is Midnight Sun.
