Have searched everywhere I thought may have answer, but to no avail.
Has anyone reading this removed the thumbstud?
If yes, how did you do it?
 
Never myself. Might want to check with Josh / REK Knives REK Knives - he once did before a regrind on one of my XM18, if I remember right ?
