Hi Guys,
I recently traded for a Hinderer XM24, WOW! My standard for comparison was my Strider SMF and SnG. The first thing I noticed about the 24 was the great ergos, fit and finish, and heavy duty construction. The only problem with the knife was that it had been "sharpened" on a Wicked Edge and the edge profile was a little messed up. I talked to Rick at Blade Show this year and showed him the knife. He told me he could re-profile and sharpen it for me, just send it in. I was so impressed with the knife and customer service that I did a video review of it. In this video I did a comparison between the XM24 and the SMF. I hope you like the video.

Thank you all for the information I really appreciate how the knife community are always ready to help even someone who you don't know makes me feel good to be part of it
 
I have both Strider SMF and Hinderer XM-24, and there is little comparison other than they are both big heavy duty knives. The Hinderer XM-24 is so much better that the Strider SMF in every way it amazes me that Strider even sells knives much less sell them for the insane money they charge. I don't need to go into details because no matter how you look at it the XM-24 is better than the SMF. YMMV.
