First off, I hope everyone had a great Memorial day weekend. I spent this nice, hot day doing some yard work at the house my parents rent out. Since there aren't any tenants there currently, there was quite a bit brush to clear out. I brought along my USMC KaBar and a cheap machete in addition to my normal EDC knives: a Victorniox Alox Cadet and my XM-18 3.5". I was using the machete to clear some of the taller brush/weeds and I found one of the largest weeds I have ever seen (may have been Hogweed). After taking a swing at the top of it with the machete, I thought to myself: "Let's see what this Hinderer can do". I took out my XM and swung at it and it sliced through effortlessly. Perfectly clean cut- and who said Spantos weren't good slicers? After that, I used it to take down a couple more weeds before realizing the machete was much easier...albeit not as fun or cool. And just so nobody can say "pics or it didn't happen", here are a few pics ;).
