Hinderers In Movies/TV?

Have Hinderers ever been in movies or TV? I look at how some brands got to be big, and many came from celebrity endorsements through the big screen. The AP ROO came with Terminator, and PAM with Stallone. If you look at the Walking Dead, they use knives all of the time...

My question is whether or not anyone at the Ranch has ever tried to get Hinderers featured in a film? I am pretty sure that any action movie could have a XM carried by the hero or villain. Anyway, kind of a random thread, but curious if anyone had any input.

I would love nothing more than to Darryl crushing zombie skulls with a XM-24...

They go for the wow feature and have a fantasy type of knife used by the villain.

Knowing the modest nature of Rick and Rob (and the crew at the Ranch) wouldn't be their style to initiate that happening, I don't think they would object if it happened but to actually pursue it, I doubt it.
That said, Many a Celebrity has Rick's knives.... I will leave it up to Rick or Rob to share the names if they choose.
Rick has been guest to some Big Names (We would all recognize) because they admire his work and by connection - the Man as well.
Rick and his crew are just very very modest down-to-earth people - it is just one of the reasons I am proud to call them "my Friends".:)

We be a non-name-dropping group here.

As far as I know there are no Hinderers appearing on screen...but I'm betting a collaboration has or will someday.

And there are a few folks on the forums that may be able to influence on-screen gear appearances.

Not I. They keep me hidden for the protection of the psychological health of any that might see me.

You know your ugly when you go to jump into family photos and everybody says, "No no no, we're good, we're good".

It might be fun to see some character in tv or film carrying a Hinderer (I can think of a few where they'd fit in), but I don't think my collection is large enough yet and I'm not sure I want them to inspire anymore competition- I still have a long shopping list first.

Recently saw an ad for a show named Flashpoint...I've never seen an episode but the name fits with a certain fixed blade.

It would have to be a movie about people with a qualifying job for there to be Hinderers in it. :highly_amused:

Very true, a movie about a guy with a desk job who cruises the internet for a cool knife would not do well at the box offices!
