I noticed, in a previous post, someone commenting on the lack of a spell checker in the forum software and as I haven't seen it already I will post the method I use. If this is old news or has been posted before-I apologize. Feel free to lock this one down or delete as necessary.
The fix is fairly easy (I am basing this on MS 95-98-2000). In its default configuration you should have the icon for Outlook Express right next to the "start" button. (I usually keep Outlook express running while on the web) When I want to spell check something, I simple select and copy the text I want to spell check, then I click on the Outlook tab to switch to that window. Once in Outlook I click on the new message tab and then paste the text into the new message and run spell check. Once you have made your changes simply select the text in the new message window then copy and past back into this text box.
Note: most old DOS hands know the short cuts for this already but they are worth repeating: "ctrl" + "x" is cut, "ctrl" + "c" is copy and "ctrl" + "v" is paste.
