I bought Sekicut Hiro Little Blue which has VG10 laminated blade. At one point I tried to use it when I lower bottom of crib. It is some little round wood thing which connects bottom with frame and it stacked in the a hole. I used my Little Hiro to take it away. The 1/8" of the tip bended in about 30 degree! However I rebend it back without any problem.
Now I am wondering is it suppose to be like this? I defenetely do not expect such things from new super steel. Does anybody experience this too. May be the tip was intentionaly soften to prevent breaking? CRKT Apache ATS-34 does not act like this.
I am confused.
In general I like this knife very much, really good design, triple laminated steel, exotic wood inlays.
Thanks, Vassili.
