I have a couple of new small bushcraft knives currently being made by Jason B. Stout. One is for me and one is for my wife. They are going to be 7 1/2" OAL. 3 1/2" blade. 5/32" Spine. S30V Steel. Stonewashed finish. Bos heat treat. Tapered tangs. I am going to have the sheaths made out of leather with a fire steel attachment. Thanks for looking.

Cool. Would like to see an in hand shot. Cool steel choice by the way. S30V scandi is going to be a slicing machine.

Very nice.

I picked up my first Jason B Stout knife up last week, should be here any day now.

Wish it came with a sheath like yours instead of the kydex.

Very nice. At one point I was hesitant about the durability of hollow ground knives like the one you have. I have one of Jason's Model 2 Tacticals with a hollow ground blade. I beat the crap out of it and it took it like a champ. In my opinion it will serve you well. I was going to have a kydex sheath made for mine, but changed my mind and decided I really wanted a leather one. It was more expensive than kydex, but I have no complaints. What kind of steel is yours made from?

very nice...I've always liked that washed put yellow color in a knife scale, I guess because of the ol' Case folders in that color.

I half-way expected one of that pair to be wearing pink scales though!

D-2 here is the specs.

7 1/2 overall, 3/16 thick,with tapered tang, 3 1/2 inch blade.. black/dark maroon, handle slabs,with stainless bolts.. D-2 steel

One thing I forgot to mention about the sheaths is the spacing of the Chicago Screws was designed by Jason to be compatable with a mini TecLoc. Thanks for all of the compliments.

Those may be the best looking bushcraft blades I've seen yet. Definitely post in-hand pics when they show up. I'd like to have that design in a 5" blade.
