I was wondering how well the assist and lock holds up long term on the Hissatsu folder? They have been out for a while now and I figure some of the members have had them for a few years. The knife looks like a tank and feels like one too. I have only handled one at the store but I have one on order now. So are they a yea or nay long term?
 
I purchased the non-assisted version and prefer it over the assisted opener. It is a well made folder for the money.
 
had mine for several years no problems. its' a little chunky & most of it's usage points towards defense. i prefer knives with utility uses as a primary but able to rock if necessary.
