Hisshou handle wrap

I bought one of the CRK&T Hisshou's last week. When it arrived I played around with it a little. I noticed that the cord wrap was really tight and it appeared to be a well done wrap. The only problem I had was that a firm grip seemed to compress the handle a little bit and it felt like it could possibly twist in my hand. Let me go ahead and say that I will probably never use this knife for anything other than to show to friends and to knifsterbate, but I still want a firmer grip. What I did was something I had asked about here a couple months back, and that was to use the super glue that comes with a brush and coat the threads. I have given the handle 5 coats of sg, and found it sorta feels like micarta, well grooved micarta with it being cord wrapped. It really has a firm handle that when gripped your hand stays locked on. Of course I was hesitant to do this at first, as I did not know for sure it would work out, but it made sense to me that it would, and it did. Anyone else ever do something like this?

Well if works for you then guess that's OK - bit late to undo it now anyway. Funny how the Samurai never saw the need though - but what would they know?
