Maybe someone here knows some background on the Model 112 with the Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield on one side. The blade stamp is: BUCK/..112../usa I got this knife through eBay because Model 112's are my prime interest and I ride a Harley. Appreciate any information that can be provided. Thanks.

if you see it well they will fit!

hummm..just guessing, I'd say original Harley part number 99116-85V, made for H-D in 1985, thus the 4 dot blade stamp

I have to ask -- how did you know the H-D part number? And note the V at the end, that shows there were previous parts like this knife.

Your post reminded me that I saw this knife in the Fall 1984 H-D Parts & Accessories catalog. The H-D Model 110, stamp ..110.., was part 99116-85V, $44.95, and the Model 112, stamp ..112.., was part 99115-85V, $41.95. These knives were shown in that catalog. Gerber also had two H-D folding knives that year. Hopefully, some of them are still around.

I have a well worn copy of Blade's Guide to Knives and Their Values, and it's shown in the Harley section; and although it's been several decades since I owned a 77 FLH, I still look...kinda like women:D

I have the two 1984 Fashions and Accessories catalog (both very thin), and the knives are shown there. And yes, once a rider, always a rider!
