History Question about Round Eye Knife and Tool

Who were they? Where did they go? I heard a story that the guy that owned it came home from Korea after the war and didn't care for the native people.
What years did they operate. I have searched and find info on only one knife they made. I am sure they made more. Any info would be great. Pictures of the blades would also be great. I recently got one of they're knives and just like the first Cattarasgus I got I would like to know some history.

They shut down in like 02, IIRC. Knifeoutlet told me they were, I posted it, they replied "lol, no way" (they had a forum presence back then) and then a few months later did. They made folders with the rolling lock before Benchmade bought it. They also made the Gunting before it was the Gunting. It was called the Escalator. Made the Crawford designed Carnivores, and the Pioneer, and the Sifu. Of course they made the Hobbit Warrior, Hobbit folder, and Hobbit Fang, probably their most notable line. I can't remember much of anything else about them. I'm sure a collector will provide more insight soon.
 
There was some concern about their rolling locks failing, particularly toward the end of the company.
I have had numerous REKAT knives and all their locks were perfect that I had. In fact, I would say that their quality of construction was very good.
Maybe I was lucky. But I never saw a bad one. My Sifu was awesome.
 
I wonder why there is so little info on the internet? I can find scads of info on older knife companies.
 
Ah....should have looked for designers....these boys had a lot of first...rolling lock..hmmmmm axis lock??? And whoever it was that told me it was a Hobbit's Fang was correct....

Mine doesn't have the original sheath..Hmmm the mystery is unraveling....
