I've been lurking on the forums for a couple of years, and I finally have a decent pic of my collection to post. So Hiya guys and gals.

I am BubbaThud, son of PapaThud, father to LittleThud and LoudThud, and I like things that go swish, stab, thud, thwack, bash, bang, and kaboom. I wanted to produce an epic intro post, with history and pics of individual knives, and stories and whatnot, but Little and Loud aren't cooperating, so I'll add individual knife photos with their stories as I manage to steal the time to post.

A brief history of my Busse collection....

I recieved my first Busse as a gift from my father. A SteelHeart II as a class knife, (hella more useful than a class ring). I purchased my next Busse at a Y2k survival show I believe, a Badger Attack that was the prototype for the Brass grommet handle fastenings. My next Busse was a birthday gift from my father, a Police Recruit cut down to under 2.5 inches for me to carry legally on a college campus, (the satin finish and hollow ground blade was just to make it extra awesome I think). Since then I've added a few, whenever I can afford them or beg for them well enough. I hear howling kids...time for me to get back to work.

Enjoy,
--BubbaThud

Welcome to the trough, BubbaThud! I can see you already have the infidiction, so I'll just pass the Kool-Aid!

Hi and welcom to the forums!!!!!!!! You have a nice collection. Man, that is A LOT of AK's.

Welcome! Some great Blades you have there!

Need some close up's on a few, when the kids give you a chance snap us a few if you don't mind:thumbup:

BubbaThud welcome! You are like an heir apparent to a dynasty of Busse Combat history. I am glad you have taken the step from lurking to posting. Nice collection!

welcome aboard bubba, great collection!
(can you take some pics of your dad's stuff too?)

Welcome aboard Bubba, i've not seen that many AKs since Iraq!

Nice collection indeed, now go chop something and post the pics. lol.

Welcome to BF! You have a very nice collection that I envy ;)

I needed a lot of AKs...hard to find good throwing swords. I can totally take pics of my father's collection...I helped him take a lot of the ones that have been posted here over the years, and he even loans me a knife every once in a while. It will take a while though, since he moved 800 miles from me, so I don't see him that much any more.

RoyalM, do you want to see the swords, post chopping? Or do you want to see things that have been chopped by the swords?
