HK 14715 blade play. Fixed by BM! Great service.

I sent my HK Axis back because there was a bit of vertical blade play. Lyndsey at BM made a quick turnaround and 7 business days the knife is back in my pocket and the issue is fixed!
Once again great service from Benchmade!
Now this really makes me want the new mini version of the HK Axis, oh and a BM 485 too!
 
I just realized that the excitement waiting for a knife to come back from service feels a lot like the waiting for a newly purchased knife to arrive. I think I will send a knife back to BM for Life Sharp every few months (I have enough BMs) to keep me occupied. Maybe it will feed my need for buying new knives I don't need. Well maybe not...
 
I too just received mine back (Mini Grip) from BM for an off center blade that I could not correct myself. I took 6 business days to go from Michigan to Oregon, then fixed, then back to Michigan. All fixed. Certainly wish it was correct out of the box but in all, great work by the BM team even if it was the second time around.
