Thanks for posting! For those of you who are new here, HK Knives is a collaboration between KYenglish (Peter Howard), and myself. I do the grinding and heat treating of the blades, and Peter does the handles and sheaths, plus designs the knives. I'm looking forward to seeing what new designs are in store for 2016!

Just want to say I love my HK... BTW who ever did the website, did a great job.! Clean and easy to follow well done..

Anyone who does not have "Pooka" should order one. Cocobolo with Brass and Mosaic pins.

There will be more Pooka blanks going to Peter later this month, along with a couple of Mini Muks.

Here it is being put to work in a domestic environment....

That pecan wood is beautiful and the peach pit bead goes perfect with it

I'm not normally a fan of spalted wood, but that Pecan do look great!

I found Pecan wodo through the reuest of that very knife if I remember right, surpised how much I liekd it as well and it 's one fo the ebst smelling woods when working it I'vwe ever used, smells nutty, no joke :)

THis is absolutely gorgeous!

Cocbolo woods always nice but I like the whole set up as well, couldn't agree more, like the pecan scales most fo the best conmbinations and set ups come from people asking for specific ones, if I was left to my own devices they'd neevr come out with these probably pretty combinations and interesting wood choices!

Looks like a pooka will be my third JK behind the CBK and a pocket MUK

Are the pooka only available in scandi?

At the moemnt John does the scandi's for the HK's, he ca do any number fo grinds as we know but like the rest fo it, it's a cost cutyting mesaure, this is aparently the best grind for performance/cost ratio. I'd have to ask but I bet John might be willing to do another grind for a higher price on the blank, he's a pushover when it comes to customer reuests after all, :D

Wow. This is gorgeous! I am going to have to get one. Except flat grind.

Can you give the specs on the Pooka? Is it a 3 finger grip? I have a Lt Wright Patriot, is it about the same size? Really cool EDC.
