How does it go as a combat knife?
Can it slash through an inch and a half (40mm)?
Can it pierce through 5 inches (130mm)?
This knife needs to do the above with great ease...
If it cannot, do you know any knives from coldsteel.com that would?

I would say that the slashing and thrusting ability of any knife depends upon the technique of the user and the sharpness of the knife. That being said, the HK line is made by Benchmade, so initial sharpness shouldn't be an issue.

That was going to be my question---my kitchen spatula recently penetrated over six inches of tapioca pudding in one thrust, with no appreciable damage to the rubber tip. Didn't try any slashes...

It looks clean and has my Minimum amount of blade length.Is it a Snody design? Kinda looks like it.I'll be going to a Gun show this weekend and will probably be able to see one up close
