is it just me, or has ebay been letting a lot of balis slip through these days?
peace.
aleX.

Why yes... they certianly are! In fact, they just let another one slip right over to me! :D A first run (105/500) BM42as, NIB. I may have overpayed ($180), but don't tell me if I did. ;)

I almost had a BM-42 a couple weeks ago, but they caught it about a day before it ended. :barf:

Anyway, I bought one locally this weekend. :p

Sometimes they let them slide until hours before closing. it really sucks. The knives that end up sliding all the way through, usually pull in a pretty penny. Quite often twice to three times their worth. They always seem to pull the auctions for the cool older ones.

I got in early on this one...

I don't know if this is a "factory" latchless, but I have several Valors, and I am always pleasantly supprized with their quality. Almost as good as Parker and Taylor.

If you see a bali on ebay, your best bet to actually get it before they snatch it away, is to "Buy It Now". Of course the seller has to have that option set up before hand. That's how I got mine. Once you do that, eBay can't do anything about it. :D
