I will let your imagination guide you on the meaning of "HMF", this thing weighs in at 15 oz. I doubt it will be known for its flip-a-bility, yet it feels like a well made heavy object...if that makes sense.

I hope it will be approve by the IKBS guys, it will get the look over at blade by the maker Flavio from Brazil.

The HMF IKBS#1 stats
5" recurved blade of cpm 154 HRc 60 OAL 10 1/2"
Stone-wash flats/Machine satin bevel
Alabama damascus handles
Latch is Ti.

This is a first time go for this design, so its not quite perfect ( if there is such a thing) I will have to do future models with other handle materials, this stuff is just a tad heavy.

Smooth, solid and nooooooo play what so ever thats the IKBS for ya:thumbup:

Thanks
Spencer

Those are great looking knives. I love the bali-song, even as heavy as it is. I like them heavy. The 1911 is a nice knife with the barrel bushing tool intergrated into the handle. Pure genius.

thats pretty awesome

i don't know that i would have gone with the green anodized tail catch, kinda sticks out funny.

ohh and spence you should really look into some lotion, your paws are a little gnarly :p:p

LOL they are pretty bad huh!, well the average seems to be about 14 hours per day in the shop. My hands will get creamy soft after blade:D

Very nice! Too bad balisongs are illegal in my country.:(

I love it when I see a new knife design and get hit by
that "WOW" feeling.

All the best,

that is a sweet design for sure. I like heavier knives. I really like that the blade shape is a totally useful one. Too many bali's have blades that aren't much good for anything but poking holes in people. That blade shape would be useful for skinning, bush craft, general use.

actually (dont you dare laugh) i find that my wife's face wash is the best for washing my hands.

Its a 25% Betadine 75% Dove Hand soap mix

doesn't wipe out the calouses and such, but really cleans up well. Soft in our profession is not really all the helpful :D;);)
