Hmm, my stag handled knife shifted a little tad bit?

Hi all I've been using my knife which is a fixed, 3 1/4" blade with stag handles for edc for the past month. Today I used it to cut the plastic ties off of packaging, you know the ones used to hold things together when they are shipped on a pallet. Today I used my knife to cut the plastic ties, the knife cut it with no problem the tool steel is sharp as warm blood but while I was cutting the ties not in a straight angle I felt the blade shift a little? I understand the blade is a half tang not a full tang throughout the stag handle. I'll contact my knife maker to ask him what are his thoughts, but in the future I'll use a full tang blade for heavy edc use. Since the knife I used is more of a light duty self defense knife. I think the blade is glued in to the stag (with crown) handle? Knife makers let's hear your thoughts before I bug my knife maker/ friend after t day.
