I was just reading some of the things on Cold Steel's site about thier Trailmaster... and I have a question.

If you were really "put to it", do you think you could chop a Trailmaster in half with a BM-E??

I suspect so.

Welcome to the Busse forum!

In regards to your inquiry, it would be nearly impossible to cut any properly hardened knife in half with another blade of similar hardness. Edge to edge impacts are usually not very indicative of anything other than which edge is either harder or more obtuse. The Trailmaster is a very good knife and a lot of credit should be given to Lynn Thompson (President of Cold Steel)for having pushed the performance envelope in manufactured knives.

You've got to give it to the Skunk man. He's always there when you need 'em. He's willing to destroy anybody's blades in the name of science! What a great group of guys! They're "Givers". . . . each and everyone of them!!!! ;)
