I am not a lawyer but it is my understanding that a trade mark feature is something that distinguishes one design from the other and since the feature itself does not make those blades look anything like Busse blades I would think it is okay. Again not a lawyer just my opinion

AFAIK, any forward talon hole is in violation of the Busse trademark. It doesn't matter if the knife looks like a Busse designed knife.
