I have the Grunt, shown at the bottom. Great design and good convex edge. By ken Warner at Knifeware.com.

I like all their new designs. Good solid utility knives at very fair prices.

Lots of the old-timey shapes seem to be resurrected. That shape also resembles the RH PAL 34, or sometimes called Mark 1, from WWII.

Not hand-made, I betcha.

Sixty-seven Sarges sold.

Nice.

(I think.)

Uncle Bill was so sick, and felt so bad, but he took on one more special project with the "Sarge" knife. It's a tribute to his strong will, and his love for us and the Kamis that it ever got made. Sweet design by Kismet and good rendering by Bura and his crew.

Kismet made the first one from a file, and it had the logo of the file maker next to the guard. Bura must have thought that the symbol had some significance, so he puts his maker's mark inside a rounded off rectangle, just like the original sample!

It warms the heart.

Right-O

Great minds.

Convergent evolution.

Form follows function.

I always wondered about that dotted-line box... special touch for the Sarge/KPH. Funny how things work out. Thanks for the info, Steve.

I have Sarge #33  :footinmou . It has an nice feather streak through the horn grain. I scratched it, dangit, while sharpening with a diamond stone so now it's scotchbrite pad-satin. The mirror finish is (temporarily) too high maintenance for me. :(

Nice lookin blade, hate the damned rubber handles!!!! Although I have a couple - four or so knives with them. :grumpy:

I have a Busse Basic 9, A Swamp Rat Bandicoot and Camp Tramp, and a Cold Steel LTC Kukri. I do have to say that the Busse and the Swamp Rats are a much better quality rubber, I know, I know, it's not rubber, it's Respirene :p, than the damned Kraton.
There's just something about the feel of a rubber handle I don't care for. I prefer a hard handle, even wood, over a soft one.
It's not a real problem to replace the rubber with a good hardwood but I'm getting frightfully damned lazy in my old age and think there should be an option even if it cost more to get a solid handle.

Yvsa- There is. It's called Koster Custom Knives. :footinmou

I know. A PITA to send them back out after they come in, but necessary sometimes.
