Ohhhh man if I want one of these babies, I'm going to have to stay OUT of the Exchange...too much good stuff going at really good prices in there! :eek:

Does anyone have any idea if the FBM is going to be any longer than the previous versions. Seeing how the handles on the FSH increased in length, thereby increasing the OAL, I'm wondering if the OAL of the FBM has increased also. In other words do any of the HOGs or the Boss HOG have some specs to offer up? Thanks guys! :D

The handles are contoured out of micarta that is over 60% thicker than before and is chock full of palm swells and curves. As you hold it towards the front you'll feel the aggressive non-slip grip pattern of the flying raptor scales. . . in the chopping position, with the handle forward for added leverage, you'll note the smoother, less aggressive grip pattern of the diamond quilted micarta.

The design changes are too numerous to list at this time but a few pics ought to help!

The blade length of the FSH is eight inches isn't it? If so then just add two inches to the overall length of it and that should give you the overall length of the FBM.

Go for it, you've got plenty of time before you see the FBM.

Hmmmmmm.... thanks Silas, I thought for sure I studied that quote when I did a search for the specs earlier in the week.....guess I wasn't looking close enough! Man...wider and longer, Bring It....soon I hope! :cool:

Bro....if only it was like that! Oh well....once I get my California legal War Boar ( :D ) it'll have to do for a new knife, at least until the FBM makes to my doorstep! :cool:
 
Well... that just kicks a lot'a ass. Sign me up. I only wished Jerry would make a 12 incher. Oh what a dream that would be. No one makes 12 inchers anymore. But a BM in such lengths might possibly be able to destroy the world. So I guess I see why there isn't one. :(
 
Yeah, it sucks that he doesn't make a 12 incher..

Oh, well, I guess his 12.5" MOAB will just have to suffice.. :p

That said, I plan to diaper up when my DC HOGFSH with SS arrives. My wife'll probably just find me blubbering on the floor incoherently.

The MOAB is/may still be available from the Busse Custom Shop. I heard that there were several orders already waiting in queue. This is the only one that's made it out of the shop so far. There are additional photos out at badmojo.tv under the Blade West 2003 link.
