This last knife (bottom of the three) has one of the blades I forged with the induction coil, it is 1070 and 1080 (core) steel with 2 layers of nickel. It is slightly bigger and it has more bulk to the scales, almost a pen knife. The handle end showed some nice translucence so I decided to keep it flat (you can almost see the screws through the ram's horn from the rear). As with the others this has titanium liners with a double detent, this time anodised to a light yellow. It is completely incidental/random but the nickel layer shows in the maker's mark and the nail nick. It is one of the sharpest knives I made as well at BESS 151g.
