After looking at this knife for a long time, I *finally* have a CF Kwaiback inbound and it should be here on Tuesday.

While I tend to try and gather as much review info as I can online, the Kwaiback reviews seemed pretty scarce other than those posted on some retailer sites and a couple of videos.

For those of you that have one, what do you think about the Kwaibacks? Were they what you expected? More? Less? Anything to watch for on them? Did you like them so much you bought half a dozen more???

Thanks in advance for the info!

I have one..picked up a while back..to be honest I really like it..fact is I bought it too add too the collection..and what ended up happening is..I can't put it down..flips nice,centers up great..and notthat bad in the pocket(wish it sat a little lower).
From what I have read and experienced (as other owners have) be careful when it's in the pocket..don't go jamming your hand in there..the cutting edge is really close too the end of the scales and it's actually pretty easy too get the edge of a pinky finger in there..I have been bitten already!!
I use it pretty often and the finish is holding up well also!

Aside from that no complaints..

It's a beast. I have the non cf version and I feel it's like a lead pipe in my back pocket(in a good way)despite they milled all the internal space. . Yours will not be as heavy. It really feels like it can be used open or closed as a defensive weapon. Fit and finish is tight, maybe too tight as mentioned with the tip. I never had a problem cutting myself when closed but I did once while opening it. The back of the tip hit my other hand and cut me.

Thanks for the input so far guys. I really appreciate it.

Looks like the shipment got held up, and it won't be delivered until tomorrow. I've seen a few pictures on instagram lately, so that makes the wait even harder. LOL!

One thing I forgot to ask:

For those that ordered one and then sold it, was there a particular reason for it? I know I've flipped my share of knives that looked great on the screen but didn't float my boat in real life. I'm thinking there had to have been at least a few people that thought, "Well, maybe it won't be so big and heavy."... and it ended up being too big or heavy.

I got my cf Kwaiback here on bf. I guess my fingers are too fat to reach the edge when folded because I never had any issue with that.

If I were to be super critical I'd say;
1) The flipper tab could use some rounding off to make it more comfortable. Your finger will be sore at the end of day one.
2) Although the clip works well, it would be nice (I think) if it rode a little lower in the pocket.

Before I got the knife, I felt a little "put off" by the Jesus angle, but, for whatever reason, I haven't thought about it since and it would not factor in purchasing another Hoback.

But, overall, I love the knife.
