Hobbling around the house on crutches

One of these days I am going to order some wood scales to put on it . Olive wood or Monterey Chestnut or Osage Orange

hedge is always a win in my book - but olive is a very close second.
im not familiar with Monterey chestnut.

In your.... "pocket"?
She doesn't need to "know" you have a knife on you, she can see it from across the street! :p

Hell that's a big knife too have in your back pocket, you could always stick it down the front and see if you get lucky. :D No really though that's a nice rig and like you mentioned some nice wooden scales would be sweet. If you want more grip try some canvas micarta, it's pretty tough as well.

I was hobbling around last night with my BK-9 slung over my shoulder. I made a bandoleer rig for it I was going to the living room. I wanted to sharpen the BK-13 in the sheath

I didn't read that right it was Moreton bay Chestnut it is an Australian wood. I like the look of it. They are Tommy The Who scales. My wife ordered them for my Christmas.
I will get them on my BK-10 and see how I like them them maybe get a set for my BK-9 later on

I just have my beckers littered around the house. Bk98 and bk62 in the kitchen. Bk5 in the dining room. Bk11 in living room. Bk24 and bk18 on night stand. Bk9 in a camping bag which is in the living room at the moment. Bk2 in the truck. Everything else is probably in the bedroom closet. Bk4 might be in a suitcase.

I have 3 a BK-9 with a 13 in the sheath that hangs on my closet door and my BK-10 that is usually on my night stand or lately in my back pocket
