Hobo Rocket Stove

Saturday, before knocking off for the Christmas weekend, I riveted these cans together. There are a bozillion stoves out there, but this one is mine.

Now to clean all the soot off of stainless...

oil the stainless first with something like kerosene

Soak it in Oxyclean..... Kerosene works too......

Use a layer of aluminum foil, then just discard when done works great

Dang it! I forgot.
It's amazing, make a zero-budget, cub scout sized project & get tips on cookware cleaning. This place rocks!

I use steel wool and Comet cleaner.

In boy scouts my dad taught us to put a light even veneer of liquid dish soap before camping
Put in hot water and it easily washes clean....the ash never makes contact with the pot
