No biggie but I had the urge for some hobo tea today (now with 33% more hobo). Gathered some fuel and my old hobo stove...

Prepped everything nice and neat(ish) with my Becker BK11...

A couple of zaps with the ferro rod and a few minutes later...

That's pretty much it. Thanks for playing along!

Pretty cool Gingi. Sam like to drink that in between games of hobo soccer.

Were is the booze? :D

He said ''hobo'' not ''wino''! LOL

looks like fun, I have a GI canteen stove on it's way to me, finally make my GI canteen, cover, cup (and stove) set complete! I haven't made a tin-can stove in a long long time, used to make those when I was a kid. I should try 'em out again.

I don't think I've ever seen a pic of a "hobo stove" before but it looks a lot like something my mom put together when I was a kid, maybe 9 or 10. We had a bad ice storm and all of the power was out for several days .

She made it out of a really big coffee can and three bricks. Within a few minutes we had a small fire going and water boiling soon after.

We had oatmeal for breakfast and it was GREAT!

Looks like a fun time Gingi.
