Forged from 1010/O2/1010 laminate (from Eurotechni).
About 180mm cutting edge.

Stab' beech burl.
Stab' Birdseye burl.
Desert Iron Wood.

Looks like a light trick due to positioning of the piece when you took the pic and that burl.
That single dark spot is whats doing it. Probably needs to be sanded off......
