HOG B8 Sheath + Incoming Baby

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. My lovely lady and I are about to announce that we’re having our first baby on Mother’s Day. So you all are actually the first to hear about it. Since you’re all my big knife family — I’m happy to share my excitement.

That being said, the HOG B8 couldn’t have been ready at a better time. Every gorgeous piece of INFI deserves a proper set of pants. Alas, let’s talk sheaths. Lots of great options here (Dave, Al, Chad, and Savage to name a few).

But for this big piece of Bacon a BIG shout out to Eric over at Mashed Cat Sheaths. He’s got my knife and will be churning out pants for anyone else looking for some. Big thanks to Eric. Shoot him an email if you’re ready to put on some nice proper pants!

I read a few different books in anticipation of the birth, by the way, and the one that I liked the best, and found the most helpful, readable, and relatable in terms of addressing the way I felt throughout the process was Armin A. Brott and Jennifer Ash’s The Expectant Father. I highly recommend checking it out in paperback or audiobook form (if you’re like me and don’t have a lot of time to read but have a substantial daily commute).
