This one is not about blade, more of Hog life?

I was trying to get something new to try on and saw a "Bushmill Irish Whisky".

I was going to get it but end up buying JW Green & Knob Creek home. Is Bushmill Whisky any good? Anyone have gave it a try?

I've enjoyed the Knob Creek much more than the Bushmills, I think you made the correct choice.

That being said Bushmills is pretty tasty for an Irish Whisky.

I've never tried the Tullamore Dew, sounds interesting.

I don't think you did so bad with the two you've got.

I know they are great, cuz...they are not something NEW...... My original intend was trying to get I hv not yet tasted.

Then, I pickup my REGULAR.

I think, and sure you Hogs knows booze better than I do. Need some recommandation. :D

Bookers! An excellent bourbon...

And as for Scottish single malt, why not give Bowmore a try?

I concure with VTW -- I prefer Tullamore Dew over Bushmills.

Lots of other suggestions, but these three will do for now.

If your looking for an excellent Irish Whiskey, go find some RedBrest.

BEST.IRISH.WHISKEY.EVER

Trust me on this one.

So far on here I've seen Blanton's and Knob Creek. Fine bourbons indeed.
My palate votes for Woodford Reserve. Sweeter than Knob Creek, less alcoholly than Blantons, but I have many more drinks to go before anyone calls me an expert.

I prefer Bushmills to Jameson, but IMHO neither of these compare well to decent Scotches that may cost $5-10 more. That's just an ignorant statement based on my opinion of flavor and nothing else. I do use Jameson in my steak and Guinness pies though, mostly because it's fairly inexpensive and has decent flavoring for that purpose.

VTW's got the right Idea...Anyone else here into Bourbon? If you like Bourbon I suggest Blantons.

Ohhhh Yeahhhhh!

Blantons is good but give me George T Stagg any day. The flavor is so intense.... You'd never guess the proof if you didn't already know. It's tough to find (usually only one release per year) but a great value at around $50.
