O.K Hogs i need your sage advice, being but a mere piglet in the world of hogs, 1 year 27 Busse's. Should i beat this beautiful SAR 8 or not? i usually have no problem using my Busse;s ,but i'm havin trouble with this one, Help guys, what do ya think!
 
If you like it use it. For right now with the economy the way it is, most new model Busse's are selling at or below purchase price. It may be years before that turns around.

Bah. Use it. Even if you really hate yourself afterwards, you can always send it back to the shop for a refurb.

The only knives I've kept unused were ones I wasn't sure I was going to hang onto - ones where I was still on the fence about whether I liked them enough. Any knife I get and I know I'm gonna keep it, the first thing I do is beat the crap out of it. I've even beaten a knife or three when I wasn't sure whether I was gonna keep it, because I couldn't resist that temptation.

Unless you're planning to hold onto that SAR8 to re-sell it for a profit, I say USE THAT SUCKER!

yeah. same here. though many a time i have to use to once to figure out if i like it or not
 
Beat the piss out of it for a month, then sell it to me for what you paid and get a new one :)
 
To not use it is to torture it. Show that thing some love...

No worse fate exists for a fine tool than an unused Busse.
