Hog Hunt....The Ultimate Boar Knife

I just returned from a great two day hog hunt with Dan Moody at Four Seasons Hunting Services. I have wanted to do this for a long time. I designed the knife in the pictures with extensive input from Dan Moody. This knife is now called The Ultimate Boar Knife. Dans' dogs are really great dogs. He uses black mouth curs as bay dogs, and American Pitbull Terriers, American Bulldogs, Argentine Dogos, and crosses of the above 3 breeds as catch dogs. Watching these dogs work was worth the trip alone! I can highly recomend Dan and his guides Sonny and Jeff. Enclosed are some pictures of our hunt. We killed 1 boar that weighed about 170 lbs, 2 sows that weighed about 150 lbs, and 1 boar that weighed 350+ lbs. :eek: By the way I am the folically challenged person (bald) in the first photo. If anyone would like more specific information let me know.

I tried to post a close up of the knife used but had alreay posted a picture in the Asian and Australian community section under the post Tom Krein TK-2.

Congrats on the hunt -- I'm off to see close-ups of that blade. :eek:
 
That is one sweet looking knife, but if I'm gonna get that close to one of those hogs, I want that blade about a foot longer! :)

Oh yeah, Tom. Bring me one of those to the Blade show.
 
I sure dont want to meet you in a dark alley!! Hunting Boars with a knife!! LOL, good hunt.
