This one won't win any fit and finish awards but should be a good functional user for the customer.

Thanks. No this is the Suminagashi from workshop heaven. It's actually not many layers. Only 11 on either side. I purchase the bar, forge it and ht it Japanese bladesmith style.
(Learning) Making my own Damascus is something on the list for later this year

Fogarizzu is from Pattada I think he said. Also Salvatore Puddu
apparently a rich history of knifemaking in Sardinia?
