Hog lovers, I want ur opinion!!!

So I keep seeing a bunch of trough raiders for sale in the exchange. My question is, am I the only one that absolutely loves the trough raider!!?? I mean I’m a Bowie knife kinda guy and this is a great take on it. Now I will say this!! My Busse ash-2 is still my go to for anything. I love my ash -2. And would like an ash-1 for the right price or trade. But I love the trough raider. It feels great in hand and is a beast. And I will be buried with this blade when i die. I’m not a huge fan of Azula sheaths but with the trough raider it works. I just want some of my Hog fans to let me know what they think of this blade. Thanks everyone in advance.

Wow!! Thank you for sharing that brother!! I lost my mom and dad in 2019. Dad in April and mom in September. I had a Harley road glide and would take motorcycle trips and went to a bar in WV called the jabberwocky. Never heard of it until then. The poem I read was a little different but same concept. I like urs better! Thank you for the response!

Very sorry to hear that my friend. The poem always leaves me with the weirdest feeling of darkness and fun. Have it again now, same as when I was still an ungrownupkid. Glad you enjoyed.

The Trough Raider was my first Busse knife, I still love it. Ethan Becker put it the best when he said some knives just make me smile when I take it out of the sheath.
I can't say it's the best big chopper or slicer but it can hold it's own and it will get the job done and look cool doing it.
I have seen some of the ones for sale and I was really tempted to buy a second one but I have to move some non Busse blades first to free up some fun tickets.
 
The coffin shaped handle defines it for me....either love it or not, IMO. I always felt it was more suited to a double edged blade, but to each their own.
 
I should note that I love the TR, more than I thought I would as it turns out. And I'm kicking myself for not getting one in comp finish when they were available.
 
That knife is a monster. I got the feeling it would be a little slippery when chopping, though I never chopped with mine. I do know that my inner feral teenager self wanted to chop doors off of refrigerators with it though. There is ZERO doubt in my mind that knife would obliterate whatever you brought it down on. I’d be very interested in a .25 stock version, without CBT and with a Res C regulator handle - in SR77 please.
