I have a Suzuki Marauder 800 that I recently put custom Vance Hines pipes on. When I get around 75 mph or over and maintain that it starts to sputter a little bit and seems like its running lean. Now I didnt flow jet the carburator after I put on the new pipe which did open up the back end and increase the HP. Do you guys think that this is what is causing the problem? Any Hogs or Piglets out there know Motorcycles? Thanks.

Did you change your intake at all (e.g. you're letting more air in) recently or before you added the pipes? If so, then you're undoubtedly running lean. Check your plugs...the color will tell ya. Does it make any weird noises when you let off the gas?

I'd put in on a dyno and have the operator do a 4-gas EGA. The dyno will tell you a lot about the engine system performance.

Chances are it's a bit lean. If you only put the pipes on, it shouldn't be too lean, but that's only a guess. Mikey is right, you need to look at the plugs to give you a better idea.
