Hogs, if you could pick top the three knives to have in your collection (now I mean production knives, not variants that there is only one or a couple of) what would they be? My picks are the following (the pictures are of the ones I have):

And Wilber there, well he's sitting in for the CSI SH :eek: It's a TV star!

i would have to agree with you for the first three, but my fourth would be the argonne assault.
 
When I got that AK out to take the pictures, I had forgot how well it felt in hand. If the new AK is close to having the same feel, it will be fantastic being it has a INFI blade! Anyone who doesn't order one will really be missing out.
Now, the Silent Knight is a totally different knife, the handle is like the older BBSHII knives, form fitting and slender, but not thin, just right. The difference being it is bigger than the SHBM, but with less blade width, it is much faster and quick. Too bad there weren't more available, for a production knife, you would think there would be more available from time to time. I feel real lucky to have found one.

Well, if I had to choose only three:
1) large - SHBM
2) mid-size - Basic 7
3) small - either a BA3, LMS, or maybe a Leaner Meaner Street

Interesting question.

If there are to be only three, then they would be three users for me.

Straight Battle Mistress, one of the first 300, I could tell you why, but then Jerry might sue me. Secrets, secrets, you got to use it to believe it, a great knife.

A Skeleton key (finest edc Busse for me)

The last is prolly a N.I.C.K.

Limited to three I most value the ones I use.

For three I would just polish with a soft cloth, entirely different knives, I might have a rag rubbed knife or two around here some where.
 
if i had 3, (these are kinda weak, but they are ones i love dearly)

basic 9
8" pure bred fighter
moab

if not the moab, then a hogfbm...

if i had 4, then add a new ak47

that new ak47 looks so bad a$$ i can't believe it. ordered the black canvas with urban camo blade :cool:
 
I guess the way I look at it my top three favorite would be the top three that would be most useful as a combo, for me.

-The Fusion Battle Mistress
-The Satin Jack TAC or The SF Natural Outlaw with a satin or double-cut blade finish and Magnum micarta handles (preferably desert tan or tiger stripe but any Magnum handles will do) that I've been posting about in the WTB section for what seems like forever now but no Hogs are willing to come up off of even though owning one would put a grin on my face from ear to ear and I would be forever indebt to that Hog for selling it to me and would give him the best review that the GB&U board has ever seen!!! :)

Then I need to take a shovel : my SHBM

I also need a pair of Chopsticks for eating chinese food: my two 8 inch PBF's

Then I need a spoon: my SFNO

Then I need a pair of tongs for picking up stuff: my two SHSH's

I need a toothpick: my LESJ

Then I need a comb: my LEBA

I need a water devining rod; my BM-E

I need a couple of rubber insulated wire cutting devices: my Basic 9,9,7's

I need a saw: my SH-E

I need a Razor: my desert NO-E


wew, this is tough, since I can only take my three knives and all these utensils. :eek:
