Jerry, I mean Garth. The Rat Tail is such a cool knife. Please do an INFI Hog Tusk! ;)
:D
Would you HOGS buy one?

How about a skeleton warboar?

I would definitely get one of those, and I would also love to see a re-release of the Skeleton Key or some close variant of it

Leave them un-ground for a HUGE discount and Lycosa can buy them cheap and throw a chisel grind on there. Horndog will thin the profile for some thinfi. Mustard man will thin and convex it. 230 Grains will leave it thick but put a full convex on it. DowntownDM will try to chop through a chain with it as a means to sharpen it. Norcalblacktail will gripe about the choil and strip it. Ban will buy a few and charge extra having made them sharp enough to push-cut concrete. Eventually Liu Kang will own them all. If I've omitted something, please chime in. :D:D:eek::eek::D:D:thumbup:

Fixed it for you!

ha, well played. ;)

you forgot:

Jaxx will buy 2700 of them; Bravado will clean his repeatedly and pet it and put it in a safe for eternity, all the while claiming everyone else's actions exclude them from HOGdom; Foo will search out all of the original ones, no matter the cost or owner; Horton will want a .500 thick one; and Ducci will recraft it into something more like the Seahorse, much to Jerry's chagrin.

There, I fixed for you! I was feeling left out for awhile there.....................

Seems pretty close to the skeleton key.

as a huge fan of the rat tail, and having owned both - they are a million miles apart. The handle of the skeleton key was tiny, barely enough grip and the blade was considerably less tall than the rat tail. The overall affect of the skeleton key is that of a very small slicer, yet being as thick as it was with a hollow grind it had a tendency to bind at the corners of the spine.

The rat tail on the other hand is an compact edc utility knife, one that is stout enough to pry with and take on any major hard use task but acute enough to be still be worth using.

Where I would not recommend skeleton as an edc general use utility knife to anyone (it isn't made for heavy tasks (design wise)), I would suggest the rat tail to everyone looking for an ultra compact hard use utility knife.

It even had a choil I was willing to live with (unlike the cultellus).
