I recently scored a Black and Green Hog Warden from a fellow forum goer and it got me thinking about Warden Variants.
With a little Busse-fu I found some sweet ones and was hoping that some of you Hogs and piglets may have some other "grail" Wardens to share.
Here's mine with a pic from the seller,

WOW

Those have to be some of the COOLEST Wardens I've ever seen

One of the few snake wood Wardens is with me, but has no jimping on the spine...

...I think that one in that thumbnail is or was Resinguy's, mebbe?
Also, the one off "PUG Warden" (2nd thumbnail below your pic) is mine.

Then there's this one... The Shiv Warden. It has the distinction of having the thinnest blade on the fattest frame as well as being double edged with the main flat being hollow ground. A real slicer!

The Blues Warden isn't a variant, but it is the only one with blue giraffe bone from a Ganzaaa long past...
To this day, it is still one of my favorite Busse knives. :) Very comfortable handle, and on a .140" thick GW blade.

I need to dig through my pictures, but I had a snake wood that went to Eli and a slight recurved bubinga at one point.

WOW Jaxx!!!
Very cool!!!
Thanks for those!!!

You're most welcome! Game Wardens are what brought me to the world of Busse, and so I love showing them. :)

Recurve! Thanxx for reminding me...
The one in the middle of these 3 from BLADE 2007...

...Is the one I just got a Chuddy Bear pocket sheath for!

Hi Jaxx. Wondering if you can tell me what the edge bevel is on that GW (if "edge bevel" is even the right term!!). I understand it's hollow ground but is the edge bevel flat, convex etc? I'm fairly new to this game and of the Busse's I own or have seen (which isn't that many) they have all had a convex edge. I'm thinking a hollow ground GW might be a nice EDC but I suck at sharpening convex and I'm curious to see what Busse use when they do a hollow ground blade. Thanks mate.

Chris.

It's flat. AKA, "V-grind". :) Most Game Wardens, and all of the original run GW's have V ground edge bevels if I recall correctly.

Busse can do both types of edges on hollow ground blades.

I thought this Snakeskin had some file work..... Sorry for the none close up, the original pictures are on a hard drive separated from my computer.......

No, that Snakewood variant wasn't mine. I had an earlier wood scaled one, maybe the first?, from Blade 07. Recurved and file-work.

Nice pics, everyone. Can someone explain the Bad Warden? Is "BAD" an acronym? Thanks.

Here is my weak and blurry contribution to this thread (and I don't think it's a HOG warden, just an OJ):

I'll see if I can get a better pic, but I'm taking pictures on one of those flip vid cameras so I'm not sure there is a better way to do this, unless I take a video of it in 1080p... maybe I'll try that. Hang on.

Jimmy,
I love the BAD Wardens. I may have to find one for myself.
I'd like a Bad Warden with a Busse Nuclear Treatment!!

Thanks for the heads up Resinrib.
I've seen some up recently as well. Unfortunately my knife budget is depleted at the moment so I will have to wait until it is rebuilt.
