HOGFSH vs. non-NM FBM

After doing some chopping recently with a user .319 thick HOGFSH, I wondered how others compare it with a non-NM FBM.
My thoughts were that although it's a shorter blade, I was easily doing the same work with just a little bit more effort and when backpacking, the saved space and weight would be a plus.

What are your thoughts?
 
did you actually weigh them? I was thinking that a CGFBM wouldn't weigh much more, if any, than a HOGFSH.

that .319 HOGFSH should be a beast of a chopper though...
 
Which FBM are you wanting the comparison with? There were a couple of variations out there. ;)

FBMLE or a CGFBM.

I don't have a scale so I can't weigh for comparison but they feel pretty close to me.
