Sorry if you guys get sick of the same stories and pics, but we got out again Saturday night -- hunting rice fields in southeast Texas, pest control for local farmers...

We killed only 7 this time but still had tons of fun. Here's a few pics of the rig for those that asked.

Getting ready to go (I'm the tiny guy on the left at 6'1" and 185, the dude in the middle is HUGE, lol.)

Right off the bat we nailed one:

The county gives us $25 for each of these (hey, it's a box of shells...)

This one went about 250 pounds and had some pretty good cutters:

A final group shot (notice Pops in the back dancing for joy :D):

I think we're done for now until after deer season ends (they frown on us blasting guns all night during whitetail season )

But we've had fun, and there's meat in the freezer. And the hogs will still be there (and plenty more) by the time January rolls around.

Wow, ya'll must have hog like we have squirrel:eek:

Great hunting Eli:thumbup:

We do have alot of coyote around though...the county don't pay but the Cattle farmers in the valley are giving $25 each.

Awesome pics, Eli. Looks like great fun.
And I don't think you need to worry about anybody getting sick of stories and pics like these.

I see a Ka-bar but no busse!

Good hunting guys, I wish you could get paid to hunt coyote up here.

LOL, the Busses are hidden!

There's a Silent Knight and an old straight handle Mean Street in there

sweet pics and tons of fun. I remember when they used to pay $75 per coyote up where I am from, but I never did bag one (never spent too much time hunting coyotes, just busting rock chucks)

I see you finally broke out the rifle.

I think Pops got into the shine...

Thanks for the pics, also. I never get tired of them.

man you get 25 a piece???

man you can hunt for a livn:):)

LOL, he looks like he may have... He told us it was iced tea

The 444 Marlin worked better than the 12gauge. Every now and then we get up in the middle of a herd of them, and the shotgun works like a dream. But more often than not, we're making 50-100 yard shots, with the pigs on the run. It sure is hard to hit them in that tall grass.

I'm considering that! I could get rich if they gave anything for coons and skunks...

When I didn't think I could want to go anymore, you get paid for them? Man I could make a living of that.

Cool pics, thanks for sharing! And don't worry, we don't get tired of them :D
