So, been a huntin' for a couple of knives recently. One new, one not so new. Both elusive in their own rights...
First up, was a new Swamp Warden. Haven't had much time for F5'ing at the Swamp Rat Store and have been missing them each time. Pics popping up, frustration setting in. But hey, no regrets!! I just kept bumping my "Wanted" post up every week or so. Then, bang!! A HOG to the rescue. Reaches out to me and offers me an OD Swamp Warden at his cost!!
I was stoked as OD was my first color choice!!! It even arrived on my birthday which had me grinning from ear to ear all day!! :thumbup: :thumbup: It celebrated with a few brothers later that evening!
That same day, got a call. This HOG I had dealt with once before on a trade which got me a highly treasured blade, a HOFSH Variant. Told me that he may have a contact for my other "elusive" blade and asked if I were still interested. Based on other contacts and PMs sent, I had seriously given up on this one, so I almost screamed it, but I managed an enthusiastic "YES!!!" over the phone. Many PMs and updates later, it arrived yesterday...
