Hogue Customer Service

This morning I called Hogue customer service concerning a filler tab for the removed pocket clip.

Now mind you they have the entire hardware ensemble for the Deka for $12.95 plus shipping. The kit includes every screw, filler tab, and combo Torx wrench. I explained to her my situation and just needed the filler tab and asked if they could just sell one separately.

She said “why don’t I just mail you one”? I told her I was certainly willing to pay for it and she said “nope”. She floored me when she said “you have black oxide hardware, right”? I told her yes, and she said she had it pulled up on her screen.

So, in short, bravo Hogue. That’s pretty good customer service and I felt they deserved a shout out.

I had a good experience w/Hogue customer service too!

Bought a 7" Hogue EX-F01 w/cocobolo scales on it off the Exchange.

Thought the knife was really "pretty" with those scales on it but felt that I needed to spare them from abuse. So, I called Hogue CS to buy some black G10s and the "tool" that comes w/the knife when purchased new which was missing.

It was only a few bucks but the CS rep threw in the "tool" for free even though I offered to pay for it.

They did a blade swap on my EX 02 for $35 I think. Turned it around quickly.

The folks at Hogue are some of the very best. They have been beyond helpful and very gracious each time I've spoken to them.

Looks like Hogue & Sig Sauer produce the same knives. They’re partners in that respect.

I’m not sure it makes a lot of difference. Both knives are very similar and use A2 steel. I wouldn’t worry about it. Hogue still stands behind it.

Sig Sauer line is part of Hogue line of knives. Its on their website.

I tried 3 times to get a thumb stud from Hogue. It’s 3 pieces and 3 part numbers. They send only 2 the first times and sent me the wrong part twice. I gave up and modified the wrong part to fit.

That is excellent. Ill have to give them a look next time a buy a knife.
