Hogue Deka disappointment

Anyone else underwhelmed with the Hogue Deka? I got the DLT magnacut exclusive. Blade is far from centered, lot of blade play side to side, sticky action, and had to tighten up pocket clip. This is my first Hogue so maybe par for the course?

I have two Dekas. One in 20CV with the drop point blade and G10 handle. The other in Magnacut with the reverse tanto / nightmare grind and that Gawdawful, hollow, thermoplastic handle.
The ergonomics of the drop point don't work with my particular hand. But the knife is well built.
The handle of the Magnacut model is just a terrible design choice as it is slippery, flexes in my hand, and because it is hollow it throws off the balance of the knife, but the quality of the build is good.

So while I don't give either one any pocket time, the issues are in the design, not the build quality.

I was hesitant to buy the regular run with the plastic handles so I sprung the extra money for the exclusive with G-10 handles. I’m not crazy about the ergonomics but I’ll need to use it for a bit to see how it pans out. Just expected more quality from a knife that costs over 150
