The manual safety on my knife......I've only handled mine so I don't know if this is a wide spread issue or a fluke. The manual safety on my knife doesn't stay open against gravity. When open if the tip is pointing down the safety freely slides into the locked position and if I point the tip up it slides in the unlock position.....I know I could send it into hogue but it's such a small issue and I just got the knife I'm in no hurry to send it out for such a small reason......the warranty says you can only remove the pocket clip and tighten screws as needed after use for maintaining a safe knife for operation. Any input would be welcomed.

I would get ahold of Hogue and see what they say. I have one of their folders and have handled a few more and have not seen this issue.
 
i had the same issue with my hogue, and i just went ahead and completely removed the safety, the knife is much better without it. it was very easy to remove from what i remember.
